Hello Everyone
I’m looking to get a dataset for wind and direction on a 1 Hz basis, to look for the presence and duration of gusts.
I want this data for Charles de Gaulle Airport on the following dates:
27/04/2018
07/06/2019
09/02/2020
16/02/2020
27/02/2020
27/12/2020
20/01/2021
16/11/2022
02/11/2023
Does anyone know if this is possible or which reports I can look at to find this data?

Hi, thank you for your interest in data.gouv.fr .
The data you want is produced and published by Méteo-France, the official French meteorological administration.
Météo-France publishes different datasets with wind data for each meteo station:
Those datasets are composed of different files, organized by french département (numbered 01 to 988) and by decade.
The Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport has a meteo station called « Roissy/Charles-de-Gaulle » or « Roissy » with data from 1974, located in the Val-d’Oise département which has the number 95.
The explore.data.gouv.fr tool can help you browse this hourly data for the 95 département. For example: data for the Roissy station on the 27/04/2018 at 12:00 .
Fields are documented in this file: climatologie-donnees-horaires-descriptif-20260603.pdf . For example:
FF: wind speed
DD: wind direction
FXY: max wind speed
etc.
Other resources can help you navigate and understand the data published by Météo-France. The InfoClimat nonprofit publishes pages for each station with hourly data. For example : data for the Roissy station on the 27/04/2018 .
Hope this helps.
